You might have noticed that the plants and trees in these wedding photos are in full bloom, unlike the spring buds we currently have in Saint Louis. That’s because Andrea and Fred tied the knot in July 2014! Although their wedding took place a while ago, I wanted to dedicate a blog to these summer wedding pictures because it was so beautiful I just had to share! Not to mention, I’m catching up on blogging this month 🙂
The bride and groom met online and couldn’t compliment each other better! I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session as well and had the chance to see the natural way they interact and the genuine joy they feel around one another. I simply love the candid photo of Fred adjusting the boutonniere on his son. These three form such a cute and loving family!
This St. Louis wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Holiday Inn at Six Flags in Eureka, Missouri. Despite the fact that the hotel is located less than a mile away from Six Flags, the wooden surroundings make it feel like a whole different world! The trees behind the hotel acted as a great backdrop for photos with the bride and groom and as well as the bridal party portraits. Conveniently for the guests, the venue was all inclusive and contained the ceremony site, reception, food and cake! You don’t see that every day!
The inside of the hotel is adorned with rustic wood detail adding to the feeling of seclusion even within the city limits. After getting to know Andrea and Fred, I can tell that this venue was perfect for them and reflected their personalities.
Not only was is a joy working with Andrea and Fred, but the bridal party was also a blast! They were so much fun to be around and were constantly laughing and joking around. I couldn’t get enough of the hot pink bridesmaid dresses! They truly popped in the photos and added a special flare to the bridal party images!
I can’t thank Andrea and Fred enough for letting me be a part of their special day. I had an incredible time and wish them all the best with their new family!
